Developing Quality Resources and Creative Classroom Utilization to Make Science Teaching Innovative and Effective.
OBJECTVES:
As the founding event of the ICASE Guilin Teacher Training Center, the workshop provides an opportunity for science teachers and educators to meet together in order to:
· Learn from and Interact with invited science education experts on how to create and wisely use high educationally valued teaching materials in order to make genuine improvement on science leaning and teaching.
· Share ideas and experiences with each other in science teaching practices.
· Visit and discuss with RISE and it’s partner schools on developing featured science teaching resources.
VENUE
The workshop will take place at the Yuchai Campus of Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, P. R. China. All the academic activities will be accommodated by RISE facilities.

n Travel to Guilin
Guilin is very easy to reach by air every day from Hongkong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other important Chinese cities. The local organizer will send somebody to meet you at the Guilin International Airport if clear arrival message is received. A participant is supposed to have no difficulty to book a connection ticket to Guilin on his or her own. However, if you do have big difficulty to do that, please then contact the conference secretariat to request assistance.
n Excursion
Guilin enjoys the reputation of being one of the most beautiful places in the world. During the conference, Li River by boat and some scenic spots at Guilin City excursion will be organized.
n Some Service
An Internet corner will be set up in the conference office for the attendees to write blog article, retrieve and send e-mail message, surf on the Internet etc. during the conference.
The workshop will take place at Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, P.R. China.

Guilin's unique natural and man-made landscapes provide an abundance of options for a never-ending and unforgettable lifetime journey. The Two-River and Four-Lake Water System coils the small city which re-creates the flourishing scenery of the Song Dynasty. The classical attractions include the "Three hills, Two caves and One river" (referring to Diecai Hill, Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave and Seven-Star Cave, and the world-renowned Li River), which could be liken to the beautiful flowers giving off their enchanting fragrances.(More Tour Information)

JingJiang Prince City, namely the Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University, has a history of more than 630 years.
